Subject: Makin' a PCTel? winmodem work in Suse 6.4
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

Hello,

I'm dealing with a winmodem, which I'm not sure which brand or model it is. It
is small, i.e. the board is about 3cm x 8cm, and it has two chips, namely
PCT303L & PCT303D. It connects to the motherboard, through a female-16-pin-(8 in
a row, 2 rows) connector. Maybe it is a PCTel winmodem, but I'm not sure. Have
any of you ever dealt with any of these things? If so, could you please help me
in choosing the right kernel modules to make it run as a serial modem?

Sorry if this was already discussed, but I could not find such discussion.

Thanks!

Regards,
Haroldo.
