I did not install anything actually. Suse 9.1 recognized my internal modem 
as a hsfmodem, and also someone suggested to use the hsfmodem driver.
Anyway, i do not really have any documentation, my modem is internal and i 
bought it together with my Acer Aspire 1312LC.
The cardctl ident gave me no information:

         no product info available.
