well, I know of several people including myself with notebook computers 
that have the a 3Com mini PC card (that host the ethernet and a modem) 
that would greatly appreciate if they would have a driver for their 
modem under the Linux OS.
My monstrosity is with the ThinkPad A Series A21m that comes with the 
Intel Mini-PCI combo Ethernet-modem with 56K,
it just doesn't comply with my RedHat 7 no matter what I do.

I just can't emphasize enough how great it would be if you could help us 
out here.
