Subject: Conextant HSP MicroModem: what's that?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

I've just subscribed to this mailing list, and I was glad to see
that there are more and more successful stories with the Rockwell
HSF / Conexant SoftK56 linmodem. I have a Compaq 12xl300 notebook
equipped with a "Conextant HSP MicroModem" (according to the
command lspci).

Is it equivallent to a "Rockwell HSF / Conexant SoftK56" modem?

In the previous email and webpage from Imran Ghory, I could read
that the
driver is not working with HCF modem. Is mine a HSF linmodem.

Or simply, could someone explain me what HCF, HSP, HSF stands
Thanks a lot,

ps: I run rh7.0 with the 2.2.16 kernel
