My modem can be seen on the page:
http://www.topd.ch/shop/info.php3?art=3D424&lang=3Dd&session=3D1854f8457a=

lspci -vv yields to me:
PCTel Inc HSP MicroModem 56K

unfortunately, i could not find the source on the page mentioned.
could you direct me to the right place or email me the source
privately? i would definitely be very much interested in the source.

i send this person today an email, asking about the legal situation of
this source code. I would be glad, maintaining this driver, but I
think, maintaining a driver is only worth it, if you have source code
available under GPL or another similar licence.
at least, i will write a short FAQ how it worked for me, with the
appropriate links.
