Do EXACTLY 
rpm -ql `rpm -qa | grep pciutils`  > pciutilsrpm.log

and send it to me if it shows pciutils-2.0-2 , I will send you my
uncorrupted file /usr/share/pci.ids  . 
I am at RH6.1 k2.2.12-20, my pciutils may be older than yours. Then send
the report to the list so that somebody else may ship you some newer 
/usr/share/pci.ids
