When I got unresolved symbols on insmod of the ptserial module it was bec=
ause the ptserial was not compatible with the kernel I am running. (2.4.=
3-20mdk). Previously solution was to find a suitable ptserial for my ker=
nel. In the instance of the 0.8.6 driver the supplied ptserial selected =
by confugure was fine. =20
I did make one small change to ptserial.c. The default country code is z=
ero. I changed it to 6 (for the UK). I did not have any problems to cau=
se me to do this I just did it because I thought 'I might as well while I=
am compiling this'.
I don't know but I suspect you are using Kernel >=3D2.4.7 which is where =
the problem is coming from IMHO.
BTW where is your web site?
