Ok,
I disabled the firewall completely using:
/sbin/ipchains -F input
/sbin/ipchains -F output
/sbin/ipchains -F forward
but still no luck. Might it be a modem initialization issue that is messing up the packets? Where would I find out the initialization strings to use?
What about the netmask being set to 255.255.255.255 instead of 255.255.255.0? I do set it to that in the ppp/options file but it seems to go back.
I'm starting to run out of ideas on what it could be.
Thanks for all the help,
Darren
