Subject: can't find modem message

HI,
I have a recently bought Dell PC and they assure me that it has
a real not just a phony modem. The official part name
is PCI Telephony Modem for Windows. When I do internet-druid at the prompt the message is that modem
cannot be found. Is there something I can do to use it with RH
7.3 or the modem is indeed (tele)phony and
useless.
Thanks,
MP
