Subject: Getting pctel 0.9.4 working - I've done it!
Thanks,
I've got it working. I had to modify wvdial.conf to make the
default modem /dev/ttyS15 and now it works perfectly.
Now all I want is sound AND the modem together !
Rob
(p.s. can you please send this to the linmodems e-mail
group - I've tried 3 times and my e-mail system fails to
deliver it.)

Hi,
I've just tried 0.9.4 and get an error in minicom of NO CARRIER. I have read that this is a bug with this driver and that rebooting can help, but it doesn't. I was wondering if the garbage after the CONNECT 45333 was because of having the wrong modem settings (I've given you my settings here too). Has anyone got this working?
I hope I've given enough information here for someone to help me.
Thanks,
Rob
