I have a sugerency for you, put your "mandrake cds" in the trascan...
next, get any more decent (debian, slackware, caldera, =BFsuse?, lindows,
or any, exept redhat or mandrake.. the 2 more evil distros in the linux
cowntry)

Next try instaling the driver as usual...

All will work fine.
