Yes, but:
If you insmod both lt_modem.o and lt_serial.o with -f, it actually seems
to work fine... As I reported earlier, I have tried a few outgoing PPP
sessions to my provider and there were no problems so far. This is all
done on RH 8.0 (final version).
It's ugly, of course, but usable.
